Shrimp and garlic butter sauce, served over spaghetti, with peas and garlic bread-sticks. Black pepper and Parmesan cheese on top.
You'll need:
- 6-8 oz peeled and deveined shrimp - or any protein really
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 box (8oz) spaghetti or linguine
- 1/2 cup sweet peas, frozen
Instructions:
- Cook your pasta according to the package instructions, saving 1/2 cup pasta water, drain but do not rinse
- In a wide skillet, cook shrimp in olive oil over low-med heat until just turning pink
- Add garlic and stir fry until fragrant
- Add butter and cook until shrimp are done
- Add half of the reserved pasta water, stirring with a wooden spoon until sauce forms
- Reduce heat to very low, add peas and drained pasta and stir into sauce to coat
- Adjust consistency of sauce with extra pasta water
- Salt + pepper to taste
- Serve with Parmesan cheese and fresh black pepper
